β Ceramica Al Amir β annual production amounts to about 7.000.000 square meters wall of facing tiles, which are produced by a process of porous single firing, glazed floor tiles and a great variety of complements.
In order to reach the international specifications for our products, β Ceramica Al Amir β maintained its policy to use the best raw materials available in the Egyptian market such as Aswan clay which is considered one of the best in the world, and the best glazes and coloures from the international sources.
This philosophy helped β Ceramica Al Amir β to achieve good results and spread in the Egyptian market with our short history.

Expand production capacity. Lecico is experiencing increasing demand for its products which it is unable to meet due to capacity constraints. In order to meet this increasing customer demand, Lecico is currently undertaking the following capacity expansion projects:
Sanitary ware expansion. The Company's modern facilities in Borg El-Arab began operations in 1999 and were designed to accommodate a long-term expansion plan in four phases. Following completion of phase two in late 2003, the plant currently has a capacity of 2.0 million pieces per year. Lecico expects that, upon completion of the remaining two phases, which is currently expected by the end of 2006, production capacity will increase to 4.0 million pieces per year by 2007. These phases will be carried out using a new, wholly-owned entity for tax purposes. In its Khorshid plant, Lecico is expanding its shuttle kiln capacity, adding a new kiln and expanding its casting area, this has added an extra 0.5 million pieces to increase annual capacity to 2.5 million pieces by the first quarter of 2006.
